SMX Next Expands Into Unified World All-Star Championship for 2027
Beginning in 2027, the SMX Next World All-Star Championship will unify the prospect races held alongside Supercross and Pro Motocross into one development pathway to the SMX World Championship. Riders qualify for the season through the previous year's six American Motocross Majors, then race at five Supercross and five Pro Motocross events, with combined points seeding the World All-Stars at the SMX Playoffs. The top 15 in points qualify automatically, with up to three more from SMX Next Australia and four by invitation completing the 22-rider postseason field.
