A1 is the best race of the year... always so epic seeing new bikes, new teams, new gear, etc. And of course, seeing where everyone stacks up after the off-season!
We love our yearly stay in SD: great weather, great beer, great food. We miss Petco Park being on the schedule though! We want more baseball venues (their floor plans offer the most creative track designs)!
By this time the hype of the new season has faded a bit (don't worry... it's still there though!). A chill revisit to Angel Stadium allows you to soak up the last bit of Cali sun before the tour heads east. And you get to enjoy a great track design on what is the last baseball stadium on the tour.
New city! A new Texas venue (pictured above)! Excited to have another domed venue and to explore San Antonio. Curious what type of dirt we will get... will it be more like Arlington or Houston?
A Florida experience that isn't Daytona. Good sunny vibes typically, good beer and food around the city.
The biggest floor plan on tour allows for a unique track. It's a must visit for us every year.
A covered stadium in the middle of Michigan winter. It can be cold outside, but the venue is awesome and the city is fun to explore; get Detroit-style pizza!
One of the coolest stadiums on tour. Texan-red clay always provides a good race track. A bit outside of Dallas, but the area around the venue has some decent food options and bars.
It's iconic... Daytona International Speedway! Must visit race for Supercross fans.
Covered stadium guarantees a dry (albeit typically soft) track. Right downtown Indy with some great food and drink options.
Iconic open air stadium right downtown Seattle. It might be cold and rainy... but the city is always such a vibe. One of our favorite stops on tour.
We find this venue to be a bit bland? It's farrrr outside Boston. There's a mall right beside the stadium but not much in the surrounding area. It could be a mudder too... it's a toss-up at this time of year. However, two of our favorite breweries (Tree House and Trillium) are near-ish!
Yay to another new city! The area around the stadium looks fun to explore with some classic Maryland grub and some good breweries. According to the press conference announcing the schedule, we can expect red clay soil similar to Atlanta.
A pain to get to... a bit outside of NYC. But NYC is the best city in the country when it comes to food and drink so it's a must-go for tourists.
Excited to go back to Pittsburgh and explore the city some more! Beautiful stadium right on the river and surrounded by a neat neighborhood.
Hard-packed race track that is always a bit boring for some reason... the venue and track just doesn't seem to have any character. But Denver is an amazing city and definitely worth the visit.
We love SLC and the surrounding Utah area. It's no Vegas when it comes to nightlife, but the mountains are beautiful and there's lot of good food. Definitely a unique American city with its own culture and feel. Honestly, we don't mind finishing off the series here. It has become a fun tradition being in Utah to end the championship.
Not Back in 2027
Houston is on-and-off the schedule for the past few seasons. Maybe we are on an alternating schedule between San Antonio and Houston moving forward?
Birmingham did 3 years in a row and is not getting a 4th. Wonder if we see the tour come back here... a spot in the southeast (Georgia / Carolina areas) is missing this year. We want ATL back!
St. Louis has been on-and-off the schedule lately as well... we won't miss visiting (neither the city nor the stadium is our favorite). However, the last time it was left off the SX schedule (2025), it ended up being used to host a SMX race instead. I wonder if that happens next year?
Nashville is in the middle of replacing Nissan Stadium with a new venue. So maybe we go that venue in the future? Nashville as a city is fun and will be missed.
One and done? The Browns are building a new stadium (just like Nashville above) so maybe we end up there in the future too.
Getting replaced by Baltimore just an hour down the I-95 corridor (or Acela corridor if you prefer train travel). Maybe we see this on an alternating basis? Philly will be missed this year though... such a unique vibe-y city.
