Haiden Deegan |
Deegan started 3rd and looked to content there. But eventually he caught up and passed Mosiman for 2nd, and then it was game on. We all saw what happened next: an aggressive pass on his teammate Davies for the win which took Davies down and resulted in Deegan clinching the championship. Deegan's last half of the race was strong, and no doubt he's the deserving champ in this class. |

Julien Beaumer |
Beaumer started 6th and slowly worked his way forward (with help from crashes by Mosiman and Davies). He was battling with Marchbanks for most of the race. Beaumer was happy with his riding afterwards... big improvements from the previous few rounds. It also happened to be the first dry/hard-packed track these guys have had in a while... I don't think that's coincidence: he's better in these conditions. |

Garrett Marchbanks |
Marchbanks started right behind Beaumer and they came through the pack together / were battling the entire race. It's his second podium of the season. Overall, pretty good year for him considering the shoulder injury pre-A2. He's getting better with every round it seems. |

Jordon Smith |
Smith started in 10th and passed a few guys to get behind Marchbanks. He was pretty close to the Marchbanks/Beaumer battle for a while, but lost the pace a bit at the end. I think he's probably still feeling the effects from his Arlington crash. |

Cole Davies |
It could have / should have been another win for Davies. He started up front and put down a decent gap, but between lappers, a drop in pace, and an increase in pace from Deegan, he lost that gap and eventually was forced off the track. He handled it like a champ, putting most of the blame on himself for being in that position. Regardless, the kid is fast and will be a championship contender next year. These are all just learning opportunities. |

Coty Schock |
Schock started in 5th but simply didn't have the pace to stay up there. The highlight of his race was passing Shimoda, so he'll be happy with that at least. But I also think he'll be disappointed that he couldn't hang onto a top 5. |

Michael Mosiman |
Mosiman was riding well in the first 5 minutes or so, but lost the tow from Davies, got passed by Deegan, and then crashed. He'll be disappointed with the result, but the riding was good! |

Drew Adams |
Adams made a few moves (including passing Shimoda) to work his way up to this spot, matching his 8th place finish in his first-and-only prior race (which was at A2). He broke his back in his Glendale crash but didn't realize that until he got back on the bike a few weeks after. Luckily he's all healed up and wanted to get the extra racing experience in before the start of Pro Motocross. |

Jo Shimoda |
Not sure what was wrong with Shimoda... he won here last year. This year? He started right behind Deegan in 4th, but was wayyy off the pace and dropped all the way back to this spot. Not good. |

Enzo Lopes |
Lopes had bike problems before the gate drop and just barely made it back on the gate in time. From there it was pretty uneventful: started in 14th, made a few passes, and then rode by himself for the majority of the race. A top 10 is good though and something to be happy about. |

#61 |
Cole Thompson |
Thompson started in 16th, stayed there for the first half, but then made several passes whilst getting lapped. So he took advantage of that to work his way up to this spot, but regardless it was a decent finish. |

#101 |
Dylan Walsh |
Walsh started in 12th and then stayed there for most of the race. He was involved in a pretty big battle with quite a few guys whilst the leaders were getting around, but by the end of the main he was riding around by himself. This matches his season best from Arlington; he's been looking better as of late. |

#134 |
Avery Long |
Long started in 9th, but then dropped back a few positions to start the race. He was looking better for a while, but ultimately couldn't hang onto the pace set by Thompson and Walsh in front of them. It's been a decent rookie year though, minus the concussion in SD. |

#115 |
Gavin Towers |
Tower started in 19th and it dropped back to 20th before slowly making his way back up. So I guess this is a decent ride? Just like Long, it's been a decent rookie year for him. |

#64 |
Robbie Wageman |
Wageman started in 7th (a great start) but didn't have the pace at all and dropped way back. This is his first race of the year though after healing up from an injury, so all in all a decent return to action. |

#302 |
Parker Ross |
Ross had an off day. He crashed multiple times in qualifying, and then barely made the main event. So by the time he got into the main expectations were already low. He started in 20th and made his way forward a little, but simply did not look great all day. |

#63 |
Hunter Yoder |
Yoder started in 17th, but then moved his way up to 11th before crashing and dropping him back to this spot. Once again he was fast, but he needs to stay on two wheels. |
18 |
#334 |
Brad West |
West didn't have the pace. He started in 21st and moved forward a bit. |
19 |
#58 |
Derek Kelley |
Kelley was in 13th to begin, but then crashed on the 2nd lap and was way back in dead last. It has been a year that he probably wants to forget. |
20 |
#65 |
Lux Turner |
Turner had a pretty bad crash in the second qualifying session so was lucky to just be OK after that. He was riding decently around 15th in the main event before the pain from the earlier crash set in and he dropped the pace (and with that, several positions). |

#775 |
CJ Benard |
It's Benard's first main event! Congrats on making it into the main. From there, he started near the end and rode around near the back of the field, but he'll be better for next year. He was smooth and fast all day leading up to the main. |

#85 |
Max Sanford |
Sanford started in 15th but didn't have the speed to match any of these guys and dropped to last. Disappointing considering not a bad start. |
