Round 14 of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship was this past weekend at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Here is our breakdown of the final results.

450

1 #4 Chase Sexton Holeshot, fastest lap (by a lot), and a massive lead. Incredible race for Sexton.
2 #2 Cooper Webb Webb was easily the second best guy; he did what he needed to do. The problem? He was wayyy off Sexton. He had nothing for him in the whoops.
3 #7 Aaron Plessinger Plessinger was behind Barcia for most of the race and was starting to lose time to Barcia, but he took advantage of a Barcia crash and held on for 3rd. Justin Cooper was pressuring him a bit at the end.
4 #32 Justin Cooper Cooper's pace was just a bit off all day. He reeled in Plessinger by about 5 seconds towards the end, but then slowed down a bit for the last few laps.
5 #14 Dylan Ferrandis Great ride for Ferrandis. He started in 13th and passed his way forward, notably passing Roczen on his way to the this top 5. He also held off Malcolm Stewart for the entire race.
6 #27 Malcolm Stewart Stewart had a horrible start and was back in 16th on the first lap. He caught up to the rear of Ferrandis by lap 2, passed him, got passed back, and then stayed right on Ferrandis for the rest of the race. They came through the pack together. It was decent for Malcolm... he should have beaten Ferrandis in my opinion.
7 #94 Ken Roczen Roczen started in 11th and worked his way up, but got caught and passed by Ferrandis and Stewart. I thought his injuries were better after a strong showing in Philly, but I guess not? He faded pretty badly.
8 #12 Shane McElrath McElrath had another great start in 3rd, but got swallowed up by these guys and dropped back to 10th relatively quickly. So-so performance, but another top 10 is good at least.
9 #15 Dean Wilson Great ride for Deano in only his second race back! He started in 9th, got passed by Ferrandis and Stewart, but put down consistently fast laps, caught up to McElrath in front, and held off Justin Hill the entire race. Really impressive; lot's of positives.
10 #46 Justin Hill Hill mentioned on Instagram that he think this was his worst race of the season. He started in 10th and finished there... stuck behind Deano the whole race.
11 #17 Joey Savatgy Savatgy had a good start in 7th, caught up to and passed his teammate McElrath, lost a couple spots to Ferrandis and Stewart, but was comfortable in 8th before crashing back. He'll be disappointed... would have been an easy top 10.
12 #28 Christian Craig Craig got passed by Mitchell Harrison and was stuck behind him for a large part of the race. He finally got around but was too far back and not fast enough to progress any further. He held off Nichols the entire time at least though.
13 #45 Colt Nichols Another bad start back in 19th. He passed some slower guys right away and was behind Craig for the rest of the race. He needs to be better.
14 #86 Mitchell Harrison Harrison was in 13th holding off Craig and Nichols for the first half of the race which was really impressive... he has definitely picked up his speed, now just needs to work on endurance. He faded a lot once they got around.
15 #49 Mitchell Oldenburg Oldenburg was in 10th to start but crashed back to 21st on lap 3. He was wayyyy back and had to grind it out for the rest of the race just to pass back up to 15th. Decent riding for him... the crash ruined what might have been a top 10.
16 #11 Kyle Chisholm Chisholm started in 18th and didn't really ride forward at all. He passed a few downed riders and that was it.
17 #33 Fredrik Noren Noren was in 16th before a small crash which allowed Chisholm to get around. He was riding by himself out there.
18 #51 Justin Barcia Should have been a 3rd for Barcia... big crash in the whoops which tweaked his bike and sent him way back. He got up and finished the race though (albeit after a quick stop in the mechanics area).
19 #57 Benny Bloss Bloss got a bad start and then crashed back to dead last. Not much he could do at that point... no where close to anyone in front of him. At least he passed a few guys back.
20 #711 Tristan Lane Congrats on another main for Lane. He got a bad start and rode near the back the entire time... no battles back there.
21 #68 Jeremy Hand Hand was dead last to start and stayed back there. At some point he needs to race forward more in the mains... he hasn't been able to all year so far.
22 #43 Grant Harlan Harlan crashed in the whoops while in 19th. He got up and rode around a bit before pulling off.

250

1 #56 Seth Hammaker Quickly passed Thrasher and put down some fast laps to build a bit of a lead. He had the fastest lap of the night, and is now the sole points leader. Really good night for Hammaker!
2 #24 RJ Hampshire Hampshire was just a bit off in the opening laps and he lost ground to Thrasher and Hammaker in front of him. By the time he moved into 2nd (due to Thrasher crashing), he was already 4 seconds back and couldn't gain that time back. Despite this, Hampshire seemed happy after the race and felt that it was his best riding yet.
3 #1 Tom Vialle Like Hampshire, Vialle was a tad off the pace during the main. He never really got close enough to Hampshire to make a move, and he will lose valuable points as a result. I think Vialle really needed to win that one to stay in the points hunt...
4 #59 Cullin Park Park was riding in 6th for most of the main (after making a few passes on the opening laps), but then Forkner crashed, and Thrasher was docked, so a 4th it is! Not a career-best after this 2nd in the Foxboro mud, but this is definitely his best dry-race result. Park continues to impress, but was about 2 seconds per lap off the pace of the leaders...
5 #41 Nate Thrasher Thrasher could have won this race. He got the holeshot, and kept Hammaker pretty honest. Unfortunately he had a small crash, and then he sped alongside the whoops which resulted in a 1-spot penalty. He was decently close to Vialle at the end of the race.
6 #92 Maximus Vohland Vohland had a really bad start (once again) and slowly made his way forward. He simply needs to get better starts... moving from 15th to 6th is fine, but he should be top 5.
7 #83 Austin Forkner Forkner was looking much better today. He was running in the top 5 for most of the main before crashing back to 7th with just a couple laps to go. He had dropped off the pace near the end, but had essentially locked-in the 5th. Too bad.
8 #55 Henry Miller Another eventful day for Miller. He crashed in the heat and went over the berm once again missing the net. He seemed to be hurt, but luckily rebounded and transferred through the LCQ. He got a bad start in the main but slowly progressed forward. At the end he was riding around by himself... no battles. It's a season-best for him though!
9 #88 Devin Simonson Simonson's first race back this year and wow... it was impressive! He got good starts all day long, but definitely lost the pace a bit towards the end of the main. It doesn't matter though, it's still a great result for his first race back, and it ties his career-best from SLC in 2023 (that was in the 450 class).
10 #125 Luke Neese Neese started in 10th and ended in 10th, which is tied for his career-best. He was riding around by himself for most of the main.
11 #89 Trevor Colip Colip started in 11th and ended in 11th, also matching his career-best. He did crash near the beginning and had to work his way up, otherwise he maybe could have beaten Neese?
12 #682 Izaih Clark Clark started in 18th and made a few passes. He was right on Colip at the end. It's a career-best for him (prior best was 15th from earlier this year in Daytona).
13 #192 Jack Chambers Chambers started in 7th but was a bit off the pace and dropped back. He got passed on the last lap by Clark.
14 #97 Bryce Shelly Shelley started 14th and ended in 14th. He was two laps down and no one was around him at the end, but it's a career-best for him!
15 #148 Justin Rodbell Rodbell was in 12th but then crashed back to 15th. This is a career-best "dry" finish (he got 4th in the mudder at Foxboro).
16 #195 Lance Kobusch Kobusch crashed early and was back in 21st, and then gradually moved his way up to 16th. He must have been sick or something cause he was puking near the start before his practice earlier in the day.
17 #129 Lane Shaw Shaw started in last and never put down a single fast lap... he was wayyyy back. But kudos on qualifying.
18 #351 Jack Rogers This is Rogers first main event ever! Congrats. He didn't have much in the main, but it's a building block. He started near the back and got passed by Shaw.
19 #350 Chandler Baker Baker was ahead of Shaw and Rogers, but then crashed and never got the pace back. He was almost a full minute behind anyone in front of him.
20 #62 Mark Fineis Fineis was looking strong running in 9th but then crashed and pulled off. I think he's okay at least though... would have been cool to see him finish strong.
21 #468 Michael Hicks Hicks was in 14th but then crashed a couple times and that was that... he DNFed.
22 #10 Chance Hymas Hymas had a bad start and then a bad crash on his own. He looked KOed for a bit... but got on his bike and rode off. He's relatively okay and I think will race next weekend.
