Andrea's Angle: Introduction

Hi! I’m Andrea Ruggiero. I grew up on Long Island, I’m a software engineer, and I’ve never ridden a dirt bike in my life. Yet, ever since being introduced to the sport of Supercross in 2018, I watch each season with bated breath and am very invested in my small PulpMX Fantasy league. From what I’ve seen, many Supercross fans have either ridden / raced dirtbikes in the past, or participated in similar motor activities. Coming at the sport from a different background, I can provide a fresh perspective, which may be relatable to others new to the sport. I hope to bring new fans into the sport! I’m super excited to cover the upcoming season, interview riders, and discuss my fantasy woes or joys. I especially have an interest in giving a voice to lesser known privateer riders, who usually don’t have as much press coverage, so look out for some interviews with them!
