Round 8 of the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship wrapped up this weekend inside Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. It was the first time the series returned to Tampa since 1999.

Once again, more injuries. Cole Seely, who was sitting 2nd place in points entering the day, had a massive crash attempting a quad in the rhythm section during his heat race. Right away he was pointing at his upper leg, so all signs point toward a serious leg injury. The race was red flagged so that medics could assist Cole off the track.

450 rookie Justin Hill rode well all day. He jumped a 3-4-4 in the rhythm section, and was looking to pass into the lead in the main event when he fell.
