#4 Blake Baggett (RM ATV/MC KTM):

Blake Baggett has been on fire lately! He obtained a career-best finish with a 3rd a few weeks back, and since then, he has continued to impress. Honestly, Blake is now my favorite for a top 5 finish every weekend; entering this season, I never thought I would have said that!

Blake’s ride in Detroit was stellar. Many fans might be impressed with Dungey’s ride through the pack, but in my opinion, Blake’s come-from-behind ride was even better. Blake started farther back than Dungey, and ended up pressuring Dungey for 3rd at the end. Honestly, given a few more laps, I think Blake would have passed Dungey too! His aggression was on par, and his pace was fast. He charged until the very end, which is why he is my Most Impressive Rider at Detroit.

Dungey has shown in the past few weekends that he has the pace and the aggression to move through the pack (i.e. his wonderful Daytona ride), but guess what: Baggett has been doing this a lot too! For instance, in Daytona, Baggett was WAYYYY far back, and came all the way into the top 10…. that’s impressive.

Baggett’s 2017 season has been his best yet by far. And to think that supercross is his ‘weak part’… he’s going to be super fast outdoors this year! I can’t wait.
