Supercross 2017 is finally here! And with it, the return of the Kawasaki animated track maps. Check it out here:

Also, in case you didn’t know, these animated track maps are developed by Rainbow Studios for their MX vs. ATV Supercross game, and will be available to download and race on for game users! It’s the first time official AMA Supercross content has been in a video game since the early 2000s; a long awaited development for joint MX/gamer enthusiasts.

My Opinion: The A1 track is notorious for being way too easy, hence super boring. However, last year the Feld Track Crew impressed us all with a tight and technical track. This year’s track design also seems to be pleasantly out of the norm for A1, having multiple whoop sections, back-to-back dragon backs, and multiple rhythm sections. What’s not impressive: two boring triples, a weird double/triple-like thing (for lack of a better description), and a sand section (come on, we’re all over the sand fad). In terms of racing though, the A1 track should provide plenty of side-by-side action, with long lanes and multiple 180-degree corners. Final impression: good track for the start of the season; let’s get racing!
